Step away or switch tabs for too long, and the app locks on its own until you enter your PIN again.
Click Create a new account on the login page. Enter your name, pick a username, a password, a 6-digit PIN, and a security question — the password and question are only used if you ever forget your PIN.
Go to Manage Accounts and add each bank account or credit card, with its current balance (or amount owed, for a card).
From Home, choose Credit (money in), Debit (money out), or Transfer between your own accounts. Pick the account, amount, and category.
The Bank Accounts and Credit Cards tabs show each account's balance alongside its own transaction history.
Add FDs and RDs under Savings, with a duration preset or custom maturity date — the expected value is calculated for you.
If someone added an entry without logging in, it shows up under Approvals — approve it to add it to your real ledger, or reject it.
Update your PIN, password, or security question anytime from Profile — or reset/delete your data entirely if you ever need to.
Money Ledger works as a proper app on both iPhone and Android — same site, same data on your own server, just with its own icon and no browser bar around it.
Open accounting.clicksandco.in in Safari. Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow up) at the bottom of the screen, then choose "Add to Home Screen." This only works from Safari — Chrome on iPhone can't add home-screen apps.
Open the site in Chrome. You'll usually see an "Install app" banner automatically — tap it. If not, tap the login page's own "Add to Home Screen" button, or use Chrome's menu (⋮) and choose "Install app."
Once installed, it opens full-screen from your home screen icon, just like any other app — everything else (login, PIN, security) works exactly the same either way.
Your ledger lives on this domain's own server, not on any third-party service. Passwords and PINs are stored as one-way hashes, never as readable text — not even the site's admin can see them. Nobody can view your data without your username and PIN, password, or security-question answer.
